1. What file formats do you accept for CNC quoting?
We accept standard CAD and engineering formats including STEP (.stp), IGES (.igs), DXF, DWG, and PDF. For rapid and accurate quoting, 3D CAD models (STEP format) combined with 2D drawings specifying critical tolerances and surface finish requirements are preferred.
2. What is your standard lead time for prototyping and production?
Lead time is confirmed after the drawing, material, quantity, machining route, finishing, inspection requirements, and current production capacity are reviewed.
3. What tolerances can your 5-axis CNC machines achieve?
Tolerance capability depends on part geometry, material, feature size, process route, and inspection method. Send the drawing with critical dimensions identified so the engineering team can confirm achievable tolerances before quotation.
4. What surface finishes and secondary treatments do you provide?
Surface finishing and secondary processing can be coordinated according to material and project requirements. Common requests may include anodizing, bead blasting, plating, passivation, powder coating, engraving, and heat treatment, subject to specification review.
